The Forest Glen Neighborhood is rapidly becoming one of Big Cottonwood Canyon’s favorites. It is located equidistant from Solitude and Brighton Ski Resorts on a hillside overlooking the canyon, and it is adjacent to Guardsman’s Pass. Like all of the older developments in the Canyon it is a mix of charming old cabins and dramatic new homes, and a few remaining building lots. Until recently Forest Glen was accessible by car only in the Summer only; winter access was by foot, ski or snow machine. Large portions of Forest Glen are now accessible by car on a year round basis. It is anticipated that the entire neighborhood will become car accessible within a couple of years.
Building sites in Forest Glen feature either dramatic views of Solitude and Brighton, or are private wooded lots bordering on Forest Service Land and some great back country ski access. No wonder its so popular!
