Brighton and Solitude Real Estate is Cheaper than Park City and Deer Valley Real Estate
While Park City and Deer Valley are THE branded names when one thinks of world class skiing in Utah, the same dry, powdery snow emanating form the lake effect also blesses the slopes of Brighton and Solitude Ski Resorts. And while the real estate in Park City and Deer Valley is well constructed with a quaint European architecture, the same beauty, quality construction, and European feel of each home, townhome, cabin and condo can be found in Brighton and Solitude… at price far cheaper, 2x – 3x time less expensive as a matter of fact! Let Locus Realty, a Big Cottonwood mainstay for many years and expert in Brighton and Solitude real estate, explain to you and show you just how spectacular your family experience can be.
Park City Mountain Ski Resort, like Brighton and Solitude, is perched atop the Wasatch Mountains and is only 45 minutes away form Brighton and Solitude. Salt Lake City is only a 30 minute drive away. It is here in Park City where the 2002 Winter Olympics were hosted.
Park City Mountain Ski Resort
Park City Mountain Ski Resort is for real estate owners and skiers that want their vacations and lifestyle to have some semblance of life in a city. Park City offers all of the cosmopolitan conveniences of life back home with a side of skiing on the best snow on earth. As in most major cities, park City has something for everyone: high-end retail stores, restaurants, bars, galleries, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, tubing, miniature golf,
hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking and the ZipRider, an alpine slide that flies you through the air.
While Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude are located atop Canyons, Park City is not and so receives a little less snow each year: about 350 inches.
Deer Valley
Deer Valley is also nestled in the Wasatch Mountain Range in northern Utah, in the Park City expanse. It is an alpine ski resort (downhill skiing) and hosted events at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Like Alta, Deer Valley is more purist in its sensibilities and thus prohibits snowboarding. Like Park City, Deer Valley caters to more of a cosmopolitan crowd and thus offers a more high-end lifestyle: boutique shopping, fine dining, free ski valets, free parking shuttles, limited ski resort access, etc. And as you can image, the price of real estate is maintained by the demographic that visits.
Deer Valley does boast that it can accommodate a chair lift capacity of over 46,000 skiers which is 50% more skiers than Brighton, Solitude, Alta, Snowbird or Park City can accommodate.
Locus Realty Recommendation
Our recommendation is that for city life, commute over to Deer Valley or Park City for the day and then retreat with your family back to peace, calm and nature: to your ski vacation home, condo or townhome in nearby Brighton or Solitude.
